The materials were stored in five ovens, 11 dugout pits, and 25 polythene sacks. The raid supports Operation Delta Sanity II, part of the Navy’s broader campaign against crude oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and economic sabotage.

The operation’s success highlights the Navy’s commitment to implementing strategic directives from the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral EI Ogalla.

Navy Vows to Sustain Crackdown

Commanding Officer of FOB Escravos, Navy Captain Ikenna Okoloagu, issued a stern warning to perpetrators:

“Economic saboteurs in the oil sector must desist from these unlawful activities. We will stop at nothing to deny them freedom of action and ensure they face justice.”

The Nigerian Navy reaffirmed its determination to eradicate illegal activities in the maritime environment, safeguarding national economic security.
