The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has reinstated the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) of Omni-Blu Aviation nearly four weeks after its revocation.
The NCAA had revoked the AOCs of Omni-Blu Aviation and Eastwind Aviation Logistics Services Limited in January over document falsification allegations.
Appeal and Reinstatement
Omni-Blu Aviation announced on Monday that its appeal had succeeded, prompting the NCAA to lift its operational suspension.
According to a February 28, 2025, NCAA letter, evidence showed that Eastwind Aviation, not Omni-Blu, facilitated the falsified avionics report.
The NCAA determined that Omni-Blu Aviation neither participated in nor had prior knowledge of the falsification incident.
Company’s Reaction and Gratitude
Omni-Blu CEO, Akin Olateru, expressed gratitude to the NCAA for conducting a thorough review and making a fair decision.
He also appreciated clients, customers, and stakeholders who stood by the company throughout the challenging period.

Pending Requirements Before Full Operations Resume
NCAA spokesperson, Michael Achimugu, confirmed the reinstatement but stated Omni-Blu must settle all pending fines before resuming flights.
