The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has directed Air Peace to align its flight schedules with its actual fleet capacity following growing public frustration over delays and cancellations.
Director General Captain Chris Najomo stressed during a meeting in Abuja that “airlines must not compromise service quality or regulatory compliance.” He warned that increased regulatory oversight will now be enforced to ensure airlines stick to their schedules and maintain high standards.
Air Peace acknowledged current operational challenges but promised improvements. However, the NCAA made it clear that passenger welfare, safety, and timely operations must not be compromised.
This move reflects the authority’s renewed drive to restore confidence in Nigeria’s aviation sectorand improve the overall passenger experience.
