EOG Resources, a US independent oil and gas company, has announced a promising shallow-water oil discovery in Trinidad & Tobago, named the Beryl oil field. Located in the TSP Deep Area at approximately 170 feet water depth, the Beryl well encountered over 125 feet of high-quality oil-bearing net pay.
The company is now fast-tracking development of this field due to its proximity to existing production infrastructure, which could significantly reduce time and cost to bring the resource online.
