Engineering services giant John Wood Group (Wood) and its joint venture partner Tendrill International have been awarded a significant five-year brownfield EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP).
Announced on Monday, the contract will see the joint venture deliver integrated end-to-end EPC services — from conceptual design through to commissioning and start-up — for both offshore and onshore assets operated by BSP.
The agreement also includes a two-year extension option, potentially extending the contract to seven years in total.
This new mandate strengthens Wood’s long-standing relationship with Shell and further solidifies its presence in Southeast Asia. It underscores Wood’s capabilities in executing complex brownfield projects, particularly in mature hydrocarbon regions.
“This award highlights our continued commitment to delivering high-performance solutions across the asset lifecycle, and we look forward to supporting BSP in safe and efficient project delivery,” the company stated.
