Marine geophysical service provider PXGEO has given its 2013-built seismic vessel, PXGEO 2, a fresh lease of life after a month-long maintenance stop at Seatrium Shipyard in Singapore.
The overhaul the first after four years of nonstop global operations, included a complete hull repaint, major engine and gearbox servicing, and system upgrades.
Now fully refitted, the Rolls-Royce Seismic Vessel Design UT 830 CD ship, equipped with 12 x 8 km Sercel Sentinel Solid streamers, is set to embark on upcoming offshore seismic projects in Malaysia.
Earlier this year, PXGEO announced a leadership change with the appointment of a new CEO and executive chairman, marking what the company describes as the start of its next growth phase.
