Chinese offshore engineering company Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant (WMMP), a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, has successfully delivered three state-of-the-art jack-up liftboats to Jana Marine Services, a prominent offshore operator in the Middle East.
The vessels — Jana505, Jana508, and Jana509 — departed last week from the Qingdao Haixi Heavy Machinery terminal, setting sail for deployment in Middle Eastern waters.
Each of the self-elevating units is equipped with ABS-class notations IDM-A and SMART, signifying high levels of automation and intelligent operational systems. These features are designed to improve safety, efficiency, and real-time data management for offshore operations.
The delivery strengthens China’s presence in the global offshore vessel market and supports Jana Marine’s operational capabilities in offshore maintenance, construction, and wind energy projects.
