Mr. Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has officially announced his resignation from the role.
In a personally signed statement, Soneye cited the need to dedicate more time to his family and pressing personal responsibilities as the reason for his departure.
“It has been a profound honour to serve both the Company and our country,” he said, expressing deep gratitude for the trust placed in him over the past 20 months. He also commended the professionalism of colleagues and stakeholders who contributed to building NNPCL’s communications presence.
Soneye affirmed his continued support for NNPCL and urged his colleagues to maintain balanced and constructive reportage as the company advances its strategic mission in Nigeria’s energy landscape.
